E4S USA
At Educación para Compartir (EpC), we have been shaping better local and global citizens through the power of play since 2013. We have worked with more than 4,300 teachers and youth in the United States, collaborating directly with schools, educators, and families to offer interactive and playful learning experiences.
Our programs inspire children and youth to become active, responsible, and caring individuals within their communities. Through teacher training sessions, we also provide practical tools that strengthen teamwork, critical thinking, leadership, and empathy—both inside and outside the classroom.
We offer programs for students from early education to university level, covering topics such as financial education, sports, and global citizenship. We also promote two virtual exchange programs that connect classrooms across states and countries to foster intercultural learning and environmental awareness. One example is the participation of Innovations Academy in San Diego in our program “Culture for Sharing”, where students created meaningful connections with peers from different contexts.
If you would like to support efforts to strengthen education, youth development, and social impact in the United States, we invite you to reach out to Brooke Wallace, Country Manager of EpC in the U.S., at brooke.wallace@educationforsharing.org. Your collaboration—through partnerships, training, or program sponsorship—can make a significant difference.
E4S Ecuador
We arrived in Ecuador in 2023, and since then we have worked with more than 2,500 people—including teachers, children, and community members—promoting holistic well-being and the development of life skills.
Our approach places special emphasis on mental health, a topic that in many areas of the country still does not receive the same importance as physical health. Through educational and playful programs, we promote emotional development, emergency education, and teamwork, especially in communities with high levels of vulnerability.
We believe in a comprehensive approach that combines education, sports, and mental health, empowering children and youth to become agents of change in their communities. Thanks to our partnerships with the Ministry of Education, Lundin Gold, and the International Potato Center, we have achieved a positive impact in provinces such as Zamora Chinchipe, Esmeraldas, Cotopaxi, and Pichincha.
With 18 years of global experience, we adapt our strategies to generate meaningful impact in Ecuador. We are currently seeking new partnerships to continue growing in areas such as science, financial education, the arts, and early childhood—always with the goal of offering innovative solutions to the country’s challenges.
If you would like to learn more about our work in Ecuador or explore collaboration opportunities, please contact Paola Ponciano, Country Manager of EpC in Ecuador, at paola.ponciano@educacionparacompartir.org. We are confident that by joining forces, we can continue building stronger and more caring communities.

E4S Mexico
Mexico is where it all began. In 2007, Dina Buchbinder and Yizreel Urquijo founded Educación para Compartir (EpC) with the belief that play is essential to forming engaged citizens from childhood.
The organization was created in response to the lack of social awareness and widespread apathy toward local and global challenges. We also identified discriminatory practices, sociocultural exclusion, limited conscious civic participation, and a general lack of awareness about the importance of children’s active involvement in society. These factors limited their ability to exercise their rights and hindered the development of educational models that encouraged participation.
From the beginning, EpC was built on the principle of creating meaningful educational experiences that engage all the senses and adapt to diverse learning styles. Our methodology aims to unlock the potential, agency for change, energy, and enthusiasm of individuals, fostering a positive environment that values diversity and promotes effective, values-based learning.
Our first program was implemented in an Indigenous boarding school in the heart of the Sierra Tarahumara in Chihuahua. From that experience, we expanded operations to Mexico City and Quintana Roo. In 2013, we began our international journey, bringing our educational model to the United States, Argentina, Guatemala, and the Dominican Republic.
Over the years, EpC’s growth has been marked by key milestones. In 2018, we reached our first million beneficiaries and expanded our educational offerings to five original programs. That same year, we continued our global expansion by opening operations in a new continent—New Zealand.
In 2020, we became the first Mexican organization to receive the WISE Prize for Education, one of the world’s most prestigious education awards. In 2021, we expanded our target audience by creating a program for early childhood education that builds sustainability skills in children aged 3 to 5.
As of 2023, we have extended operations to new countries such as Ecuador and Denmark, consolidating our educational offerings and opening new pathways to fulfill our mission.
Today, Education for Sharing has benefited more than 2 million children, youth, and teachers in person, and over 5 million through virtual activities, reaching communities in 13 countries around the world.
If you would like to learn more about our work in Mexico or join us in transforming lives through education, we invite you to contact Mitzi Yacotu, Country Manager of EpC in Mexico, at mitzi.yacotu@educacionparacompartir.org. Every alliance, every collaboration, and every individual who joins our mission brings us one step closer to building a more empathetic, participatory, and caring world.
E4S Argentina
We arrived in Argentina in 2016, and since then, we have worked with more than 6,000 children, teachers, and families in both urban and rural contexts, adapting our programs to local realities.
We collaborate directly with schools, community spaces, and allied organizations to provide playful and inclusive learning experiences. Our approach aims to strengthen skills such as teamwork, critical thinking, empathy, and social responsibility, both in and out of the classroom.
Over the years, we have developed strategic alliances with companies and foundations such as Goldcorp, Newmont, Petrobras, Santander, Starbucks Foundation, and Laureus Foundation, among others. In addition, we are supported by more than 500 individual donors who contribute each month to help amplify our impact across various communities.
If you are interested in helping more children and youth in Argentina access transformative educational experiences, you can contact Diego Usatinski, Country Manager of EpC in Argentina, at diego.usatinski@educacionparacompartir.org. Together, we can continue to expand our impact.
