We have worked with more than 4,300 teachers and youth in the United States, collaborating directly with schools, educators, and families to offer interactive and playful learning experiences.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Our programs inspire children and youth to become active, responsible, and caring individuals within their communities. Through teacher training sessions, we also provide practical tools that strengthen teamwork, critical thinking, leadership, and empathy\u2014both inside and outside the classroom.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We offer programs for students from early education to university level, covering topics such as financial education, sports, and global citizenship. We also promote two virtual exchange programs that connect classrooms across states and countries to foster intercultural learning and environmental awareness. Through educational and playful programs, we promote emotional development, emergency education, and teamwork, especially in communities with high levels of vulnerability.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We believe in a comprehensive approach that combines education, sports, and mental health, empowering children and youth to become agents of change in their communities. Thanks to our partnerships with the Ministry of Education, Lundin Gold, and the International Potato Center, we have achieved a positive impact in provinces such as Zamora Chinchipe, Esmeraldas, Cotopaxi, and Pichincha.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">With 18 years of global experience, we adapt our strategies to generate meaningful impact in Ecuador. In 2007, Dina Buchbinder and Yizreel Urquijo founded Educaci\u00f3n para Compartir (EpC) with the belief that play is essential to forming engaged citizens from childhood.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The organization was created in response to the lack of social awareness and widespread apathy toward local and global challenges. We also identified discriminatory practices, sociocultural exclusion, limited conscious civic participation, and a general lack of awareness about the importance of children\u2019s active involvement in society. These factors limited their ability to exercise their rights and hindered the development of educational models that encouraged participation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">From the beginning, EpC was built on the principle of creating meaningful educational experiences that engage all the senses and adapt to diverse learning styles. Our methodology aims to unlock the potential, agency for change, energy, and enthusiasm of individuals, fostering a positive environment that values diversity and promotes effective, values-based learning.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Our first program was implemented in an Indigenous boarding school in the heart of the Sierra Tarahumara in Chihuahua. From that experience, we expanded operations to Mexico City and Quintana Roo. In 2013, we began our international journey, bringing our educational model to the United States, Argentina, Guatemala, and the Dominican Republic.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Over the years, EpC&#8217;s growth has been marked by key milestones. In 2018, we reached our first million beneficiaries and expanded our educational offerings to five original programs. That same year, we continued our global expansion by opening operations in a new continent\u2014New Zealand.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In 2020, we became the first Mexican organization to receive the WISE Prize for Education, one of the world\u2019s most prestigious education awards.
